Last updated: March 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Lebanon Feed (“the Service”), available at lebanonfeed.news, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lebanon Feed is a news aggregation platform that collects and displays publicly available news content from various Lebanese and regional media outlets via RSS feeds, web scraping of publicly accessible pages, and YouTube channel RSS feeds. The Service also provides AI-generated summaries, translations, and related features.

3. Content Ownership & Attribution

All news content, articles, images, and media displayed on Lebanon Feed remain the intellectual property of their respective original publishers and copyright holders. Lebanon Feed does not claim ownership of any third-party content.

Our use of third-party content is transformative in nature: we aggregate headlines, brief excerpts, and metadata with attribution and direct links to the original source. We do not reproduce full-text articles. All aggregated content is presented for informational purposes and to direct readers to original publishers.

Takedown Requests

If you are a content owner and believe your rights are being infringed, you may submit a takedown request by emailing us with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed
  • The URL(s) on Lebanon Feed where the content appears
  • Your contact information and a statement of good faith belief

We will review and respond to valid takedown requests within a reasonable timeframe and will promptly remove content upon verification of a valid claim.

4. Content Sourcing Practices

Lebanon Feed collects content using the following methods:

  • RSS feeds: we subscribe to publicly available RSS and Atom feeds published by news outlets
  • Web scraping:for select sources, we extract article metadata from publicly accessible web pages. Our scraper checks and respects each site's robots.txt directives before making any requests
  • YouTube: we aggregate video metadata from public YouTube channel RSS feeds
  • Bot identification: our automated requests identify themselves with a user-agent string that includes a contact URL for transparency
  • Source owners may request exclusion from our aggregation at any time by contacting us

5. AI-Generated Content

Lebanon Feed uses artificial intelligence to generate article summaries, translate titles and summaries into English, Arabic, and French, classify YouTube video relevance, and to power its “Ask AI” chat feature. All AI-generated content on the platform — including article summaries, translations, chat responses, and any other AI-produced text — is created automatically by machine learning models and may not be 100% accurate. Users should be aware of the following:

  • AI-generated summaries, translations, and responses are provided “as-is” for informational and convenience purposes only
  • They may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations of the original content
  • AI translations may not perfectly capture nuance, idiom, or cultural context across languages
  • AI outputs may fail to capture nuance, context, or the full meaning of the original article
  • Users should always refer to and read the original article from the source publisher for authoritative and complete information
  • AI-generated content does not represent the editorial views, opinions, or endorsements of Lebanon Feed or the original publisher
  • Lebanon Feed assumes no responsibility or liability for any decisions, actions, or conclusions made based on AI-generated summaries, translations, or chat responses
  • The accuracy, quality, and availability of AI features may vary and can change without prior notice

By using AI-powered features on Lebanon Feed, you acknowledge and accept that these outputs are machine-generated, inherently imperfect, and should not be relied upon as a sole source of information.

6. No Editorial Responsibility

Lebanon Feed is an automated aggregator and does not exercise editorial control over the content from third-party sources. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any news content. Views expressed in aggregated content are those of the original publishers.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: automated scraping beyond reasonable use, attempting to overwhelm the system, or using the Service for unlawful purposes.

8. Third-Party Links & External Content

Lebanon Feed contains links to third-party websites and news sources. When you click on an article link, you will be directed to an external website that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Your use of external websites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of content, or fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lebanon Feed and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from: reliance on AI-generated content, inaccuracies in aggregated news content, unavailability of the Service, or actions taken based on information obtained through the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lebanon Feed and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law

Lebanon Feed is provided as a free, publicly accessible service without a specific registered jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from the use of this Service shall be governed by the applicable laws of the user's jurisdiction. By using the Service, you agree to resolve any disputes through good-faith communication before pursuing formal legal action.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
